The Eastern Sierra Regional Fire Safe Council is a non-profit organization created to advise citizens of Inyo and Mono Counties on how best to deal with the threat by wildfires to homes, communities and natural resources in the Community-Wildlands interface.

Our goal: To have every household aware of wildfire risks.

Our Objectives:

  1.  start other fire safe councils

  2.  provide promotional material

  3.  train new councils in fire prevention techniques

  4.  provide free 'how to' manuals

  5.  provide fire safe plant guides for homeowner use

Protect Wildlife by preventing their homes from being burned because your home and yard extended the wildfire.

Won't you please do your part in making our region more fire safe? If we all do our part, we can see many benefits:

  1. No loss of homes

  2. No loss of wildlife or human lives

  3. Significant financial savings

  4. Preservation of our vegetation and surroundings

A little bit of prevention saves a ton of agony.
